Weekly Update

Mural
Amanda Cromwell  invited us to help lead a project to create a mural beneath Founders Bridge. We agreed that the mural should be a project open to the entire campus community. With that in mind we discussed an idea about creating a giant tree composed of students’/faculty’s hands. She would like to get the project underway in April. If you have any idea feel free to the club email or amanda cromwell (acromwell.student@manhattan.edu).
Cooper Union Alumni
Allen Fok and NYWEA invited the Green Club to hear a Cooper Union Alumni speak on ”his experiences as an engineer and lawyer. He will discuss his career trajectory and his role in implementing a sustainability program at a Fortune 500 company.” It takes place tomorrow from 5-6PM at, I believe, Cooper Union. If anybody would like to attend please email Allen (afok.student@manhattan.edu) your name so can get it to Cooper Union for security clearance. (See attached file for specifics)
Be sure to Join us this Saturday @ Van Cortlandt Park for a Reforestation Volunteer Day!
